'Black Panther' Featurette Spotlights Wakanda's Women Warriors

The women of Wakanda are kicking ass and taking names in this featurette from Marvel's upcoming "Black Panther."

The video introduces the Dora Milaje, the all-female special forces warriors and bodyguards to new king T'Challa (Chadwick Boseman). Leading the charge is Okoye (Danai Gurira), who is described as more old-school. Then, there's Nakia (Lupita Nyong'o), who "challenges tradition."

"She was born to be a warrior," Nyong'o says.

The featurette provides new glimpses of the Dora Milaje in action, with their elegant and fluid fighting style. T'hey take on Michael B. Jordan's Erik Killmonger at one point — and look to be formidable opponents for the villain. And Nakia has one fight sequence in some kind of casino, which would not be out of place in a James Bond film.

"Black Panther" is generating tons of buzz; it's already Marvel's best-selling movie in advance ticket sales.

The movie opens February 16.
