'Grey's Anatomy' Season 14 Gave Jaggie a Nearly Naked Scene: Hot or Hurl?

Oh, Shonda, that was cold. But also hot. Still -- Baby Harriet would not approve!

"Grey's Anatomy" Season 14 returned from winter break on Thursday, January 18 with Episode 9, called "1-800-799-7233." It delved deep into the very serious issue of domestic abuse through Jo Wilson's (Camilla Luddington) storyline with her estranged husband, Paul Stadler (Matthew Morrison), and his surprise fiancée Jenny (Bethany Joy Lenz).

However, there was also time for some sexy Jaggie moments between Jackson Avery (Jesse Williams) and Maggie Pierce (Kelly McCreary).

Before the episode, we saw the preview photos showing Jackson and Maggie laughing and flirting -- and that got our Japril hearts in a twist -- and things got even more heated between the two on screen. We last saw Jackson and Maggie on that bloody helicopter flight in the midseason finale. So they needed to clean themselves up after that mess. But, in a shameless move to show Jesse Williams shirtless, and tease out a Jaggie connection, ABC included this scene of the docs stuck waiting to put on clothes:

Here's the clip:After that, um, bonding session, Jackson asked Maggie out for a drink. The looks he was giving her! Any other woman probably would've melted, but Maggie was the one holding it together, for once. They are stepsiblings, with plenty of other complications. Instead of going out with Jackson, she accepted her Tinder date and went out with him.

So ... is that it for Jaggie or not? Jackson seemed really into her, which is not what we wanted to see.

We're not the only fans hoping "Grey's" stops trying to make Jaggie happen:

At least we know next week's episode will bring Jackson and April together. Jaggie is not the most popular ship at this point, but a Jackson/Maggie pairing does have defenders.

"Grey's Anatomy" Season 14 is back airing Thursday nights at 8 p.m. on ABC.
