The first poster for Slender Man has arrived, teasing the a trailer that is set to be unleashed upon the internet tomorrow.
IGN debuted the first Slender Man poster, which features the infamous internet horror icon as a silhouette, obscured by a wet window. It’s a creepy enough image, but you can’t shake the feeling that the many, many pieces of Slender Man art that exist on the internet tend to be creepier than this.

Slender Man, of course, is the urban legend born out of the darkest corners of the internet, a character who has risen to prominence through creepy photoshops, YouTube videos and short stories. It’s shocking that it’s taken this long for him to get his own movie and it’s not clear how director Sylvain White will bring this thing to the big screen. We’ll see tomorrow.
Slender Man opens on May 18, 2018.
