Deadline’s Top 10 Films Of 2017, Part 2: The Countdown To No. 1

It is time to reveal the top five of my annual Ten Best Movies list. On Wednesday, I revealed Part 1 of the list with Molly’s Game at No. 6, followed by Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri (7), Get Out (8), Kedi (9) and mother! (10). Criteria for these selections as well as today’s top five are movies that have stayed with me, that take risks, that stand in the tradition of great filmmaking, that entertain and maybe enlighten, that contain that spark of originality…
